Kuala Lumpur, 28 September 2013: The World Marketing Summit Malaysia 2013 (WMSM 2013) has been informed regretfully that Professor Dr. Philip Kotler, the world's foremost Marketing Guru and founder of World Marketing Summit, is unable to attend the WMSM 2013 due to a family emergency.
In a recorded message to delegates of the WMSM 2013, Professor Dr. Philip Kotler said: "My greetings to all the speakers and delegates who have come to Putrajaya, Malaysia from many countries to attend the second World Marketing Summit held from September 28 – 30, 2013. Your presence here says that you are the kind of person who cares deeply about the problems in the world and the need to find a solution. The World Marketing Summit has as its purpose the development of solutions to the problems of poverty, hunger, pollution, violence and social disorder."
"I am sorry for my absence at this wonderful WMSM 2013, as my wife has just undergone surgery on her hip on September 17, 2013. She will need 4-6 weeks to get full mobility back, during which I need to help her physically and emotionally," added Professor Dr. Philip Kotler.
