Mr Pierre-Marcel Blanchot


A firm believer in business networking and globalisation, Mr Blanchot attended the internationally affiliated ISG Business School in France and did his executive management studies at the Harvard Business School. He began his career working at his family-owned business, a corporation called Alser SA, which is one of the world's leaders in manufacturing and selling store fixtures as well as consulting on "Store Configuration & Layout" for major retailers such as Carrefour, Auchan, Walmart and Pathmark, amongst others, where he held the post of International Manager and Chief Financial Officer for France and America, Chief Executive Officer for North America, and later as Global Chief Operations Officer. He served Alser for 15 years before divesting his stake and selling the company to a major financial institution. In sync with his demanding and frenetic-paced career, Mr Blanchot is a respected international entrepreneurial "voice" – who has served on the International and European Board of Directors of the Young Presidents Organisation, a renowned organisation founded in 1950 that connects successful young chief executives through a global network with the enshrined mission – Better Leaders through Education and Idea Exchange. Mr Blanchot has founded and operated with great success numerous businesses and ventures in diverse sectors serving across the United States, Europe and Mexico. Throughout his many sojourns – he has remained true to his passion to lead and support professional and social networking organisations to further strengthen the global network of like-minded professionals.

His expertise extends across all functional management areas, such as Finance, Merchandising, Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources, Construction Management and Private Label Branding. His acumen has served his businesses and clients well, as he has a keen understanding of the "end-to-end" business enterprise. His business vision, he has translated into a winning strategy called: the PMB Coaching and Strategy.
